Why Fear?

What is it that causes us to fear?

I often reflect to myself about what I am afraid of, what I fear.  I have an attitude where I display to myself I have no fear, and that I am ready and willing to take any challenge head on.

But when it comes down to actually confronting that challenge, or performing it, thats when the fear trickles in and just colonizes my mind.

What is Fear?

Fear is that mental programming in our heads that triggers our conscious self to be cautious, because of a feeling that WE are not READY, or CAPABLE, to interact or engage in this thing we are about to encounter.

The False Evidence Appearing Real.

The moment of hesitation because our minds focus on the notion and possibility that we will not succeed.  Our uncompromising belief in our own being becomes compromised for the sole purpose of triggering a defence mechanism to prevent us from potentially hurting ourselves…

HOWEVER, this moment of hesitation makes us vulnerable and causes us to suffer an even deeper pain- the pain of not going through.  The pain of settling for less than what we know we are worth, the PAIN of shrinking to a less than amiable position in our lives,  the PAIN of sacrificing our Sense of Self, for the sake of maintaining ourself to remain in the state that we are in.   Pain of NOT GROWING any further! PAIN of PLATEAUING to the point of non movement.

Having the mental capacity to comprehend and think that if this one thing happens, our existence may be erased, and or something so drastic or bad will happen to our consciousness that it will cease to be what it is now.  This can be TRUE in the sense that yes, there is always a potential sense of danger, based on what act we are about to perform (e.g. jumping off the top of a building may actually result in Death)  but also true in the sense that YES our consciousness will cease to be what it is in this current fear state.  It will be liberated in a Fearless mode.  Being able to FULLY just Live, and Breathe in harmony with the Universe, and not be so caught up in a self centred ego mindset of protecting the state of how it is now.   Fear is like a guilt blotch that stains our souls, our minds, like a virus, plaguing it with the mental baggage that even though what we want to do may seem better in theory, the current state we are in now is actually “better”…Fear is the temptation to not pursue what may feel right and just (we can talk about what is “Right” and what is “Just” if you want…) but rather stay stuck in a punitive mental state of pseudo comfort.

Fear is the self induced mental shackles that is intangibly locked in our consciousness to perhaps, test us? into seeing how far we can break free without well dying, but also without fully realizing our potential for Truth and Self Actualization (re: Plato’s Allegory of the Cave).  Being stuck in a state of ignorance is Bliss type mentality.

Why do we succumb to this? Why is this even a thing that exists? It sounds so evil and so totally self defeating.  It is limiting what is potentially an unlimited source of Light, Strength and LIFE.

Why do we Fear then? What do we Fear?

This is the question I ask myself and always try to challenge myself to a duel in defeating this Fear mentality, or rather being unmoved by this fear mentality which exists, and continue to pursue myself-Luigi Garde- my path, my dreams, my understanding, my relentless pursuits –> my way.

Luigi- DŌ

When you Fear, recite this affirmation aloud, Liberate your Self, your Voice:

My Deepest Fear, is not that I Am inadequate.  My deepest fear is that I Am powerful beyond measure.  It is My light not My darkness that most frightens Me.  I ask Myself, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?  Actually, who Am I not to be.  My playing small does not serve the world.  There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around Me.  I Am meant to shine, as children do.  I Am born to make manifest the glory of God within me.  It is not just in some of us, it is in everyone.  As I let My own light shine, I unconsciously give others permission to do the same.  As I am liberated from My own fear, My presence automatically liberates others.

Great read, I understand and agree with you. Together we will overcome these emotions that have been handed down through generation after generation by man and learn to channel them appropriately. 3. You really make it seem so easy together with your presentation however I to find this topic to be really one thing which I believe I might never understand.

It sort of feels too complicated and extremely wide
for me. I am taking a look ahead on your subsequent submit,
I’ll try to get the grasp of it!
